To make sure that I am not assuming things that are not true, I would like to see a survey. Model, when did u purchase it, how many parts have yo had to replace. I agree a great machine when working. for the price I expect the Lawnbott to last for ___ years for all major parts.

Heck, I'll start...

Model: LB3200
Purchased: 2007
Yard Size: About 1/4 acre
Seasons Completed: 4
Hours Mowed: ~550 on original motherboard.
Parts Replaced:
 - Right wheel motor (under warranty)
 - Left wheel motor (not under warranty)
 - Rear button panel (under warranty)
 - 4 blades (2 in the first season due to yard hazards)
 - Blade motor brushes (2010)
 - Motherboard (2011, using recall), left motor controller burned out.
 - New Receiver board (2011, also part of recall) because old receiver board would blackout with new motherboard.

I expected at least 5 trouble free seasons.  I received 1.5 before the failures began.

Model: LB3200  upgraded to 3210
Purchased: 2006 (Nov -- did not use until 07)
Yard Size: About 1/4 acre
Seasons Completed: 5 (come Nov '11)
Hours Mowed: ~960 less a couple rain days (1 hour/day Apr  - Nov)
Parts Replaced:
 - Mother Board (under warranty), end of 2nd season (Oct)
 - Night Light Lens broke, replaced under warranty.
 - Due to new Mother Board remote does not work except for Circles. 
Control board was replaced at least 3 times until I gave up on it. 
Use a hook as handle does not stop motors when lifted up. 
Only needed a couple times per season.
Replaced battery
Upgraded from 3200 to 3210 before 2011 cutting season
Upgraded consisted of new chassis, lug type rear wheels, wheel and blade motor.  No mother board as it had been replaced.
Control board started working and worked up until the end of Sep 2011.
Replaced Power Supply and Signal Generator 2011
- Night Light Lens broke.
I also expected at least 5 trouble free seasons.

Purchased: 2005

Seasons Completed: 4
Hours Mowed: 680
Parts Replaced:
 - 1 blade, 2010
 - Main board (replaced when I sent the bot back for the recall that happened in 2008)
 - 1 battery, 2010

No motors have failed. Even though its red shell is all scratched, it is still going strong. What a trooper!

Purchased: 2006
Yard Size: 0.33 acre
Seasons Completed: 3
Hours Mowed: well over 1500 (I have it run every day and it goes out 2 - 3 times for 2 - 3 hours each time).  I've had several instances where I've lost the total hours mowed the first couple years so I am not positive of the exact number.
Parts Replaced:
 - Gone through multiple blades due to items run over by Robot in lawn
 - Had 1 wheel motor fail during second cutting season - replaced under warranty
 - The charger failed in second season - replaced under warranty
 - Blade motor failed in third year (since I bought the upgrade kit, they covered this under warranty)
 - Blade motor failed again at start of this year, replaced and covered under warranty (new manufacturer for blade motor)
 - Upgrade kit purchased - new bump sensors, chassis, wheel motors at start of this season
 - Another blade motor failed after 3 months of use.  Will be covered under warranty.
- Battery failed midway through 4th cutting season. Bought new one.

I expected at least 8 - 10 trouble free seasons. That is what they advertised.  I received .4 season before the failures began.
 I have 3/4 acre I run it every day, it usually stays out 3 1/2 hrs to 4,  
In the back yard (100 X 275) it stays the longest.  I think this is because it gets long straight runs on level ground.
The shortest time are my two front ditches.  (100 X 30 each) The one side is right at 27 degrees. I help Billie out on this by running my return wire back and forth.

When I first started using the mower it was getting blackout errors once and a while so I removed the filter and the transmitter showed that I had better signal strength and the mower has only had  a few blackout errors ever since. Also I am using 1600 foot of wire with no signal booster.

The Blade motor failed at 920 hours

Good point. I my case, my hour counter was reset to zero when I sent Julius to have his main board replaced due to the recall in 2008. Then, I only put him back to work in the spring of 2009, so the number I gave is really since 2009 till now. But, other than the main board, Julius still has his original motors since I bought him (??) in 2005.

I don’t understand how a lot of you have such low hours on your mowers. With my schedule my yard usually looks great but sometimes it still struggles with spring time growth and then you can notice lots of missed spots.

 - A little over 2000 feet of wire. Using the booster power supply sans filter.

Runs every day from April to the middle of October. 5-7 hours per run. 4 zones.  Difficult yard with very few flat areas. Almost every part of the yard has some amount of slope. Several areas at or near the max pitch allowed. Compass upgrade was a life saver. Nervous about the new upgrade sans-compass, but forging ahead.

Hours Mowed: Unknown due to numerous replacements and "upgrades" Usually run 6 hours a day 6 days a week. 300 hours from last blade motor failure to current blade motor failure.
Parts Replaced:
LB3200: 2-3x Blade Motors, 2x Motherboard, 2 wheel motors all under warranty.
LB3500: 2x wheel motors, 1x blade motor which is currently dead and in need of replacement
Shell is highly cracked and the mower tends to dig in rather then bump many times so lots of rewiring needed.

Edit: I received my new blade motor and it works great but the beating the lawn has taken so short especially by the wire it now constantly digs in and cuts the wire. When I move the wire in a foot it seems to take fine and the area that was formerly the boarder slowly recovers and the grass eventually gets nice and thick unlike the lawnbott grass
