This is a little late or a lot early so make a note of it for this coming Winter. Come time to bring Jr in for the Winter I first turn him off then remove the blade, clean him up real good and place him out of the way. 30 days later I attach the charge kit and turn him on. In about 10 minutes or less he is fully charged. I remove the charge kit, turn him off and put him back out of the way. This is repeated each 30 days +/- a week or two. I've done this for 3 Winters and haven't had any problems. Most of the time the battery is almost fully charged before the charging begins.
