battery problem/i think i kiilled them

Hi

 i have a model LB3210/3250 with 2 batts   well this is a long story...... a family member was trimmer around my mower one day and hit the screen with gravels and busted it so i glued a piece of plexiglass over the LCD screen and put silicone over the keypad  so that worked good but  i must have missed a spot now when ti rais the mower turns it's self on and can not be turned off  unlees you unhook both batts ...
so i put it inside for the winter but did not unhook the batts as i thiught it would not turn it's self on when it was dry  so when i got it out today both the batts are at 13 volts and i can't seem to get them to charge up now
any one know any tricks to get them to take a charge ? or is it to late for them now ??

ok left both batts unplugged over the weekend and they went up to 13.5 volts so i hooked them back up and and they seem to be taking a charge now

Hi,

The "won't turn off" problem is usually due to a faulty keypad or corrosion on the keypad connector.  You can try cleaning the keypad connector with alcohol and soft tooth brush.  If it does not fix the issue, it is probably that the keypad is faulty - so visit our web site to purchase the replacement part.
