Another year of not having to mow the grass!!!

Today started the 8th season of Junior (Jr.) mowing the grass while we sit and watch.  Love it.  I've said it before and I'll say it again people have to be crazy to be retired and still be shackled to mowing grass.  I'm going to reroute the wire so he even mows more lawn as we converted two flower beds back to grass.  We just moved the flowers to pots that we've elevated up such that he can run under them.  Where we live the plant called Creeping Charlie takes over the flower beds and lawns.  Spraying Weed-B-Gone is fine for the grass but it kills the flowers.  Now all we will have is grass and no Creeping Charlie.  It says here in fine print at the bottom of the page.... lol

This year I focus on getting rid of all the holes where Robby gets stuck.  Any tips?

If you don't want to mess with growing new grass in the spots where he gets stuck then just sprinkle dirt on top of the grass and water it in.  Let the grass grow, add more dirt, etc  repeat until the holes are filled. 

Jr. has made a track all around the yard that grass won't grow in.  We have sandy soil and once the grass is killed off by the wheels it doesn't come back.

Glad you are enjoying your Lawnbott robot mower!  I cannot imagine living without a robot mowing our grass.

Just wanted to let you know about the new LB75 Lawnbott with optional V-meter.  V-meter is a new return method that causes the robot to vary its return path back to the base.  This prevents the tracks in the grass that you have experienced.

Unfortunately, they did not upgrade the LB3210 robot's software to include V-meter (sorry about that...).  I think it's because the motherboard ran out of memory; otherwise I suspect they would have done it.

The down side of the LB75 is it is only for small yards, such as 1/4 acre or less.  The model you have has many more bells and whistles than LB75, so for you (even with V-meter) it would be a step down.
