I am performing inspections and maintenance on my 2007 LB2100.
I have the newer FISE blade motor and it was easy to disassemble to inspect and remove the brushes.
The wheel motors are warranty replacement 2007 IMS units. The planetary gearbox comes off easy for inspection, cleaning and regreasing, but I am not sure how to take apart the motor.
Has anyone tried ? I am concerned of damaging the encoder on top, but I want to inspect the brushes.
On the Bamabot forum, someone named DanB claimed the were easy to get at. Anyone still have the these IMS motors on their robot ?
