Hi Whitey, sorry for the trouble. Take a look at the date and time. It could be that the battery failed on the motherboard and that will make the robot think it is a different time than it actually is.
Also, what happens when you press the "Charge" button to make it come out?

Yes like me! I had this post bookmarked when it came out and just thought I'd check in and see how the project went prb238? Maybe you could post an update.

If the button seem ok, and this behavior still occurs, then you should take a look at the time and date in the menu. It is possible the battery on the motherboard has died and it no longer remembers the current time. If it does not remember the current time correctly, it will come out at a different time.
I know someone who had this problem once before and will ask him how to work around it (other than changing the battery). It is not easy to change the battery on the motherboard (it requires electronics skills).

Same reason as my answer to your 11/27 post, robot is not detecting it is in the base. It is either the nuts and plates have to be shined up to eliminate oxidation, or there is an alignment issue that is causing the nuts to not hit the plates when the robot enters the base.

Hi,
The robot is not detecting that it is in the charger. We've seen this happen sometimes when the recharging nuts and plates need to be shined up with fine sandpaper.
It also happens if the robot enters the base at an angle and the recharging nuts do not make contact with the plates. For this scenario, verify that the wire is straight for at least 6 feet before the base and check the the ground is level (i.e. no holes or dips that will cause the robot to change its course).
The above two reasons are the most likely cause. Investigate them and you will find the problem quickly.
