8 pointed blades?

Greetings All,

Looking at some European & Italian lawnbott sites and noticed that it looks like 8 pointed blades are an option now?

Can anyone comment on them?  At first I was thinking it looks like it would be asking for trouble since the blades are not as wide, as the 4 pointed version - but looking again there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference as far as width is concerned - just a lot less space between the blades.  Would more blades results in a better cut or longer time spans between flipping the blades/sharpening them?
