Display on 3510
« on: April 17, 2011, 01:38:01 PM »
The plastic covering the display has gotten very cloudy and I can no longer read the readout.  I tried to clean from both sides, but it appears the plastic has degraded.  Anyone have a solution to this?

I was thinking of cutting out the plastic, cleaning and using clear packing tape from both sides to cover the opening?   Any other solutions that people have come across?

I had the same thing happen to my Junior.  After chipping out the cloudy plastic I used the clear packing tape and it has worked for two years with no problem.  Be careful when you cut the plastic as the face plate is one piece.
