Robot Mower & LawnBott Owners,
Are you concerned about working on your robot yourself? That is, are you afraid you may create a bigger issue while just trying to fix some small problem?
It is a legitimate concern. Here's one way to prevent bigger problems from occurring. Unplug only the black battery wire prior to removing any circuit boards or cables.
Why? Well, then you won't mix up the red and black wires when plugging them back in!
Plugging the wires in backwards will likely cause the need to replace **every** circuit board in your robot. Thankfully, we have never received a report of this happening to any of our customers. Maybe our advice about unplugging only the black wire has been sinking in. We can only hope so!

How to RESET your LawnBott
I'm happy to report an even better way to power your LawnBott down before working on it - remove the 20/30 Amp fuse on the side of the motherboard!
We recently learned that removing this fuse powers **everything** down. Think of it as an on-off switch or a "reset" button.
Is your robot acting strangely in a way you haven't seen before? Sometimes we recommend a reset. Removing the fuse is the easiest way to reset your robot and far less risky than removing the battery connector(s).
