Title: Annual Motor Maintenance
Post by: RobotLady on September 30, 2011, 03:34:09 PM
The advice here applies to Brushed Motors Only.

Go Brushless!  Contact us if you have LB3510 and **possibly** LB3210 or LB2150.  We might have, or can order, a brushless upgrade for you!!

Motor Maintenance Note: The manufacturer recommends changing motor brushes  once per season or when needed.  It is best to do this maintenance before the motor fails or shows signs of failing.

Brush Availability: Wheel and blade motor brushes for 2009 models or later, upgraded models and models that use the 2009 or later blade motor.  Note, some units shipped in 2009 had the older style blade motor.  We are sorry, we are unable to obtain brushes for old motors.  Contact us for help identifying what motor you have.

The wheel motor brush kit is $28.95 (four brushes) and is available for purchase at the link below.  Changing wheel motor brushes is fairly easy.

The blade motor brush kit is $47.95, free shipping.

Brushes are available at:

If you cannot perform this maintanence yourself, contact us for our rates.
