Lawnbott / Two beeps while charging?
« Last post by LAGbot on May 04, 2021, 09:38:28 PM »
This spring I replaced the keypad which had failed just as I was putting it away last fall.  The replacement was easy enough...I gave the lawnbott a test run and it started right up and started mowing.  The only weird thing is when it's back in the charging station, it beeps twice every 24 seconds.  Other than that it's working fine.  I tried the menu option to disable sounds but it had no effect.  Any idea why it's beeping? (this is an LB3510 Brushless.)

This upgrade is sold out state-side. It may still be available as a special order from Italy, allow 4-6 months. Request a quote, we cannot promise the original low price.

Don't want to wait? Purchase the L210 Elite with all brushless motors and Bluetooth. Supply is limited, don't miss it! This robot drops right into your installation. The software works a little differently but otherwise everything is the same (size, shape, features, functionality). You can make changes to your installation to use new features, such as V-meter. V-meter causes the robot to vary its distance from the wire when returning to the base to reduce the creation of tracks around the perimeter.

Lawnbott / How's it going?
« Last post by RobotLady on October 29, 2019, 01:21:14 PM »
I feel like the Maytag repair man in the commercials - we haven't seen much activity on the forum lately, yet our LawnBott parts business is thriving. It seems everyone has followed my installation and winter maintenance instructions which has eliminated a lot of the previously-reported issues. Thanks, all, for doing a great job keeping your robots running all on your own!

Lagbot,  that is a neat tow hook.  I also made one using the end of a plastic coat hanger, aluminum tape, and a  3 foot section of 1/2 inch PVC pipe.  I just cut a ā€˜Jā€™ section off one end of the hanger and taped it to the pipe.  I do have to hold Juniorette up off the ground when moving it from place to place but it works.

We have the charger along side our garage with the rear facing towards the back fence.  Once Juniorette follows the wire back to the charger and goes inside she disappears!!!  Soooo, I took an old wire handle type fly-swatter, cut the web end off and then covered the remaining handle with aluminum tape.  Using some electrical tape I attached the handle to the carrying handle on Juniorette.  It sticks out behind about 8 inches and is short enough to not get tangled up when she turns around -- or she hasn't so far....

Now all I have to do is walk to the back bedroom look out the window and check for the Silver handle.

Well Junior would be doing his 12th year if not for me giving him to my neighbor across the street, after I purchased a new one.  I got an L210 Elite as I wanted brush-less motors.  I still get to watch Junior mow so it's not like he went away.... lol

The new one is named Juniorette (I have 2 female pups)

More to follow as time goes by.
